Then when I was ready I actually got a chance to ride on the back
He taught me how to skip rocks
He taught me how to ride a bike
Taught me a love for camping and the beach
Memories of beach trip after beach trip
Turtle Beach was our favorite
Digging for coquinas
Building sandcastles
Silly songs on bike rides
Bike rides to the mall
When he still smoked a pipe, we went into the tobacco shop...it always smelled so good
Good morning songs to wake up to
When I was really little, he would watch Perry Mason during my naptime
What a great cook
Thanksgiving dinner, always a great feast
He had me convinced as a little girl that he had magical powers to make red lights change and grocery store doors open
While Grandma would be shopping in the mall, Grandpa would be entertaining me by talking to the mannequins
His sense of humor, sometimes dry, always funny

Oh honey, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your dear Grandpa. Unfortunately, we lost Grandma this year (Eric's Grandma) and it's a pain that no one can explain nor want to go through.
I pray you guys are doing well... your Mom, Grandma and yourself as well. Big hugs!
